- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 6 ounces stuffing mix (1 box)
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 ribs celery, finely diced
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken, onion, celery, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine stuffing mix with melted butter and warm chicken broth until moistened.
- Spoon the stuffing mixture evenly over the chicken mixture.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience and extra flavor.
- Add frozen peas or corn for extra color and sweetness.
- Sprinkle paprika or dried herbs on top before baking for a flavorful finish.
