Chicken Divan is a creamy, comforting casserole made with tender chicken, broccoli, and a rich, cheesy sauce, all topped with buttery crushed crackers. It’s an easy, crowd-pleasing classic perfect for weeknights or potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or chopped
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix soup, mayo, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and shredded cheese.
  3. Spread broccoli florets evenly in the baking dish. Layer cooked chicken on top.
  4. Pour sauce mixture over the chicken and broccoli, spreading evenly.
  5. In a small bowl, combine crushed crackers with melted butter, then sprinkle over the top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  7. Let sit 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
