Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup small pasta
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a pot and sauté garlic.
  2. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  3. Stir in chicken and pasta.
  4. Cook until pasta is tender.
  5. Add cream and parmesan and stir.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve hot with parsley.

Notes

  • Do not boil after adding cream
  • Use fresh parmesan for best texture
  • Adjust thickness with broth
