Description

These Cheesy Jalapeno Popper Puff Pastry Straws combine the creamy heat of jalapeno poppers with flaky golden puff pastry for an irresistible, crowd-pleasing appetizer. Perfect for parties, brunch, or snacking any time.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickled jalapenos, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated and divided
  • 1/2 cup Gruyere cheese, grated and divided
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated and divided
  • 1 egg, whisked


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped jalapenos, half the cheddar, half the Gruyere, and half the Parmesan until smooth.
  3. Unroll puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and spread the cheese mixture evenly over half the sheet.
  4. Fold the pastry over the filling and gently press down. Sprinkle remaining cheeses on top and press lightly to adhere.
  5. Cut into 1-inch strips, twist each strip, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush each twist with whisked egg and bake for 15–18 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with your favorite dip.
