This Cheeseburger Flatbread combines the best parts of a classic cheeseburger and a homemade flatbread. With soft, golden flatbread topped with savory veggie mince, gooey mozzarella, sharp cheddar, and tangy pickles, it’s a fun, melty, and easy comfort food fusion.

- 160g self-raising flour
- 100g milk
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 250g veggie mince meat
- 200g tomato sauce
- 50g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 50g cheddar cheese, shredded
- Optional: 1 tbsp chopped pickles
- Optional: 2 tsp mustard
- Optional: 2 tbsp caramelised onion
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, milk, and salt to form a soft dough. Knead lightly and divide into small balls.
- Roll each dough ball into a thin circle.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook each flatbread for 1–2 minutes per side until golden. Set aside.
- In another pan, heat olive oil and cook veggie mince for 5 minutes.
- Add tomato sauce, mustard, and caramelised onion (if using). Stir and simmer for a few minutes.
- Spoon the mince mixture over each warm flatbread.
- Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese, then add pickles if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy your cheesy, savory flatbreads.
Notes
- Don’t overmix the flatbread dough to keep it soft and tender.
- Cook flatbreads on medium heat for perfect browning.
- Use both mozzarella and cheddar for the ideal cheesy balance.
- Try adding a drizzle of mustard or BBQ sauce before serving for extra flavor.
