Description

Cheddar Jalapeño Pull Apart Bread is a savory, cheesy, and spicy treat made with soft, buttery bread dough stuffed with cheddar cheese and jalapeños. It’s perfect for sharing and a great addition to any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapeños, seeds removed and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan or a similar round baking dish.
  2. Roll out the bread dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into small squares (about 1-inch in size).
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped jalapeños. Stuff each square of dough with a small amount of the cheese and jalapeño mixture, folding it over to seal it.
  4. Arrange the stuffed dough squares in the prepared pan, layering them until the pan is filled.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle the butter mixture evenly over the bread dough in the pan.
  6. Cover the pan with a clean towel and let the dough rise for 20-30 minutes until it has puffed up.
  7. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. The cheese should be melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, leave some of the jalapeño seeds in the filling.
  • If you prefer a milder version, reduce the number of jalapeños or omit them entirely.
  • This bread is best served warm, straight from the oven.
