- 1 baguette, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Toast in the oven for 5–7 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, minced garlic, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Top each toasted bread slice with the tomato mixture.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top of each slice.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 5–7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional basil if desired.
