Description

A rich and gooey brownie loaf made with nutty brown butter, dark chocolate chips, and topped with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. This decadent dessert is a chocolate lover’s dream with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a crackly sea salt finish.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, browned
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Hot fudge sauce, for serving
  • Vanilla ice cream, for topping
  • Flaky sea salt, optional


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×5 loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, brown the butter over medium heat until golden and nutty. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk in brown sugar and granulated sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Smooth the top and add extra chips if desired.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly soft.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
  8. Top each slice with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge sauce, and flaky sea salt if using.

Notes

  • Don’t overbake for the best fudgy texture.
  • Warm slices before serving for a molten center effect.
  • Use good quality cocoa and chocolate for deep flavor.
