Description
These low-carb Big Mac Pickle Boats are crunchy dill pickles stuffed with seasoned ground beef, topped with cheddar cheese, and drizzled in creamy Big Mac sauce. All the flavor of a classic burger without the bun!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large dill pickles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup chopped pickles
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1 cup High Protein Big Mac Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking tray with parchment or foil.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, salt, pepper, and chopped pickles. Cook until combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Slice the pickles in half lengthwise and scoop out the centers to create boats. Pat the insides dry.
- Fill each pickle boat with the beef mixture. Top with shredded cheese if using.
- Place stuffed pickles on the baking tray. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is melted.
- Drizzle with Big Mac sauce and serve warm.
Notes
- For crispier pickles, make sure to pat them dry before stuffing.
- You can prepare the filling in advance and refrigerate until ready to assemble.
- Use dairy-free cheese or omit it for a completely dairy-free option.
- Serve with extra Big Mac sauce on the side for dipping.
