Description

A creative fusion of East and West, this ramen burger features crispy noodle buns, a juicy teriyaki-glazed beef patty, and fresh greens for a sweet, savory, and crunchy masterpiece.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packs ramen noodles, cooked and drained
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ΒΌ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix cooked ramen noodles with beaten eggs. Divide into 4 portions, press into round molds or ramekins, and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly oil it. Fry each ramen bun for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crisp. Set aside.
  3. Form ground beef into 4 patties, season with salt and pepper, and cook in the skillet for 3–4 minutes per side.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Simmer briefly, then stir in cornstarch mixed with a bit of water. Cook until thickened and glossy.
  5. Brush the teriyaki glaze over the cooked patties and let it caramelize slightly.
  6. Assemble the burger: ramen bun, lettuce, glazed patty, green onions, and top with another ramen bun. Secure with a skewer if needed.
  7. Serve immediately with edamame or fries.

Notes

  • Chill ramen buns well before frying to keep them firm.
  • Use medium heat to prevent noodles from burning.
  • Customize your sauce by adding chili paste or lime juice.
  • For vegetarian version, use tofu or mushroom patties.
