Description

This Best Ever Peach Crisp is warm, buttery, and bursting with juicy peaches topped with a golden, crispy oat crumble. A simple and comforting dessert perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3 pounds fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (for filling)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
  • ½ cup salted butter, cold
  • 1 cup rolled oats


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, toss peaches with lemon juice, granulated sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Let sit for 5–10 minutes.
  3. Pour the peach mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, and cinnamon. Cut in the cold butter with a fork or pastry cutter until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the peaches.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  7. Cool for 15 minutes before serving. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
