- 4 medium ripe bananas, sliced lengthwise

- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 large eggs

- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a round cake pan.
- Melt the unsalted butter and mix it with the brown sugar until smooth.
- Spread the butter and sugar mixture evenly over the bottom of the cake pan.
- Arrange the sliced bananas neatly over the caramel mixture.
- In a bowl, whisk together all purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a smooth batter forms.
- Gently spread the batter over the banana layer.
- Bake for 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes, then carefully flip onto a serving plate.
