Tender pear halves filled with a warm cinnamon-spiced oat, nut, and cranberry filling. Naturally sweet, comforting, and perfect for a light dessert or brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe pears (Bosc or Anjou)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Halve the pears and scoop out a small cavity in the center.
  3. In a bowl, mix oats, pecans, cranberries, cinnamon, nutmeg, butter, honey, and vanilla.
  4. Spoon the mixture into each pear half and place in a baking dish.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes.
  6. Drizzle with honey before serving warm.
