Description

Flaky croissants filled with creamy eggs, cheese, and your favorite breakfast mix-ins, crisped to perfection in the air fryer. A quick and customizable breakfast favorite.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Croissants (preferably day-old)
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Milk or cream
  • 1/23/4 cup Shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or preferred)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional mix-ins:
    • Diced bell pepper
    • Sautéed onions
    • Spinach
    • Cherry tomatoes (halved)
    • Bacon bits or cooked sausage
    • Chopped herbs (chives, parsley)


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F) if required by your model.
  2. Cut the top third off each croissant and hollow out the center gently.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Layer cheese and mix-ins into each croissant shell. Pour in egg mixture without overfilling.
  5. Place croissants in air fryer basket or ramekins to support them. Air fry at 160–170°C (320–340°F) for 8–12 minutes until eggs are set and croissants are golden.
  6. Let rest for 1–2 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use day-old croissants for better structure.
  • Don’t overfill with eggs to avoid spillage.
  • Let croissants rest after cooking to help the eggs fully set.
  • Top with hot sauce or herbs for extra flavor.
