- 1 pound beef steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 to 2 fresh red chillies, thinly sliced
- 2 spring onions, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cups cooked white rice
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, toss sliced beef with cornflour, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil and arrange the beef strips in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sweet chilli sauce, and minced garlic. Simmer gently for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Toss the crispy beef in the warm sauce until evenly coated.
- Stir in sliced fresh red chillies and spring onions.
- Serve immediately over cooked white rice.

- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to maintain crispiness.
- Toss the beef in sauce just before serving to keep the coating crunchy.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
