Description

Air Fryer Cheesy Taco Bombs are crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and bursting with bold taco flavor! Made with flaky biscuit dough, seasoned beef, and melty cheese, these bite-sized bombs are quick to make in the air fryer—perfect for appetizers, game day snacks, or even a fun twist on taco night.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8-count) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Chopped parsley or cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Separate biscuit dough and flatten each piece into a 3-inch circle.
  5. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of taco meat and a heaping tablespoon of cheese into the center of each dough circle.
  6. Fold edges up and pinch tightly to seal into a ball.
  7. Brush each bomb with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and paprika.
  8. Place seam-side down in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch.
  9. Air fry for 7–9 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Let cool slightly, garnish with herbs if desired, and serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole for dipping.

Notes

  • You can swap ground beef with ground turkey or plant-based meat alternatives.
  • For extra spice, mix in diced jalapeños with the meat filling.
  • Refrigerate leftovers and reheat in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes to crisp back up.
  • Great for meal prep—assemble and freeze raw, then cook from frozen with a few extra minutes in the air fryer.
